Kew, Laurieton, North Haven and Dunbogan are known collectively as Camden Haven. The tidal inlet 44 kilometres south of Port Macquarie is renowned for the quality of its stocks of oysters, lobsters, crabs, bream, flathead and other table fish species.
The area boasts charming seafront and lakeside bushwalks, river cruises and panoramic viewing platforms. Comboyne Plateau, 60 kilometres inland, presents a rainforest vista complete with scenic waterfalls.
